I became a vegan in 2007 for the animals.
I enjoy working out virtually every day and eating well (most of the time). There has to be a balance. I do not always want to go to the gym, or eat healthy foods, but doing it consistently pays off.
All stores have vegan versions of meat, dairy and ice cream to name only a few items so you never have to be deprived of fun comfort foods.
Going cruelty-free does not have to happen all at once.
I hope you will join me on the first Friday of each month for a new post. I do my best not to be a preachy vegan.
I am a retired public school teacher. I am an English as a Second Language instructor now.
My vegan qualifications are : The Main Street Vegan Academy Master Lifestyle Coach and Educator; Dr. John McDougall's: the Starch Solution Program and Dr. T. Colin Campbell's Plant-Based Nutrition Certification.
I reside in NJ with my husband and our many rescued cats.
Plant-Based Nutrition Certification from Cornell University's online program.
